Most of the products have been certified with international safety approvals e.g. UL, c-UL, ETL, ENEC, KEMA, CCC, CQC, KC, EK, PSE and C.B.  In addition, Merchant's quality system has been registered to the ISO 9001:2000 by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. and accredited by JAB.  Merchant has also acquired the ISO14001 certification by CQC.

All of the products have been tested and certified with RoHS (Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances) directive and REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemical substances) directive.
